The National Financial Services Consortium, LLC is made up of women and minority owned businesses that are working in consortium to serve the nation with the ability to provide contractual services and to participate in the acquisition of loan portfolios and assets. 

 

 
 
Tony Quintero

Founder and Managing Member

 

Mr. Quintero has served as the President and CEO of Plaza Investments, LLC a real estate investment and consulting firm, and as a consultant to several national real estate and financial institutions, including Federal Real Estate  Investment Trust, Lehman Brothers, Hatfield Philips Asset Management, City Freeholds USA,  The Edward J. DeBartolo Corporation, and Aetna Life Insurance. 

 

Mr. Quintero received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from San Jose State University. He received the Juris Doctor Degree from the University of California, School of Law (Boalt Hall), and was the President of La Raza National Law Students Association.  Mr. Quintero was a Robert F. Kennedy Fellow, and a R.H. Smith Lawyer Fellow.  In addition to earning a Juris Doctor Degree, Mr. Quintero also participated in further graduate studies, including the JD-MBA program at Golden Gate University, and has completed the Board of Directors Certificate Program, University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business, Office of Executive Development, 2002.

 

Mr. Quintero holds a California College Lifetime Teaching Credential and has taught Business Law, Sociology, and Minority Relations.  Mr. Quintero’s post-graduate academic experience includes: Instructor of Intercultural Studies, and as Teaching Assistant, in Trial Practice, and Legal Accounting at the School of Law, University of Santa Clara.  He has also served as Lecturer, Commercial Lease Negotiations, Community Enterprise Project, and as the Coordinator of the Fortune 1000 Board of Directors Certification Program, Marshall School of Business, University of Southern California.

  

He has served on numerous civic and professional organizations, including: the Board of Directors, and as the Vice-Chairman of the New America Alliance, (www.naaonline.org), a national organization of Latino corporate CEOs, and he has served as the Co-Chair of the Corporate Initiative, and Chair of the Board Inititative, The Board of The Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund, The Board of the Mexican Heritage Organization, Member of the JD/MBA Association of Los Angeles, and the International Council of Shopping Centers.

 

In 2009 Mr. Quintero was awarded the "Visionary Leadership Award" by Centro Legal de la Raza, the legal center he founded in 1969, to provide legal services to the Spanish-speaking community.

In 2011 Mr. Quintero was awarded the "Maestro Leadership Award" by Latino Leaders Magazine for Business Acheivement.
